A Summer of Adventure (HAF)

Summer is the season of limitless possibilities—filled with fun, adventure, and personal growth. This summer, all these elements came together in the Ultimate Adventure HAF program, creating an experience that exceeded our wildest expectations.

Earlier this year, we were delighted to have received funding from Devon County Council, enabling us to craft a dynamic multi-sport HAF program for young people eligible for free school meals across the school holidays. In this blog, we will delve into what sets the HAF Program at Ultimate Adventure apart and why it’s an opportunity that every eligible young person or parent should consider.

1.A Season of Thrills and Discovery:

Summer is a season of boundless possibilities, and at Ultimate Adventure, this sentiment came to life. Our HAF program was designed to be an exciting blend of adventure, learning, and personal development, offering young participants an unforgettable summer filled with memories they’ll cherish forever.

From navigating the high ropes course 11 meters above the ground to mastering the art of kayaking and paddleboarding on our very own lake, from conquering our challenging climbing walls to honing their accuracy in archery—these are just a few of the incredible adventures that unfolded throughout the program.

2.Empowering Young Minds:

Receiving support from Devon County Council allowed us to empower young minds in our community. Through a diverse range of sports and activities, we provided opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery. We always aim to inspire participants to reach their full potential and discover new passions along the way.

3.Nurturing Future Leaders:

We understand that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Through team-building exercises and leadership development, we aimed to instil essential life skills that will serve our participants well in the future. Our hope is to inspire a generation of confident and capable individuals ready to make a positive impact on the world.

4.Encouraging Inclusivity:

Our program prioritizes inclusivity, ensuring that all young individuals, regardless of their backgrounds, can participate and thrive. We believe that outdoor adventures should be accessible to everyone, and we’re proud to contribute to this goal.

5.The Stats So Far:

– 66 individual children supported

– 266 booked sessions

– 20 sessions

– 100 delivery hours

– 266 healthy meals provided

6.A Thank You to Devon County Council:

We extend our sincere gratitude to Devon County Council for their visionary support in making this program possible. Their commitment to providing enriching experiences for young people in need is commendable, and it aligns perfectly with our mission to create memorable summers for all.
