2 hour intro to surfing. 

Want to learn how to surf? Whatever your ability, age or fitness our instructors will ensure you get the best possible surfing experience. We are based adjacent to the beach at Westward Ho!, Bideford, 100m from the waves. Westward Ho! Has the perfect shallow surf waves and a large open beach, giving you plenty of space to track your perfect wave

Who can take part?

To take part in this activity you must be aged 5+ years old, able to swim a minimum of 10 metres unassisted and accompanied by a participating adult (18+). Participants aged 8+ who can swim at least 10 metres unassisted can take part on their own but must be signed in by an adult (18+) and a member of staff must be made aware of any absent adults.

There is no minimum height for this activity but there is a maximum weight of 120kg.

What to bring?

We provide the wetsuits and all safety equipment meaning you just need to remember your swimwear and a towel. We do have changing facilities available but we suggest arriving “beach ready” to ensure more time on the water.

Where does it take place?

Surf sessions takes place at Westward Ho! Beach Slipway, off Westbourne Terrace (look out for our green containers and smiley staff.
