Essential Information

Coasteering in North Devon with the UAC includes:

  • Full safety equipment including wetsuits, buoyancy aids & helmets
  • Fully qualified beach lifeguards & Adventure Activity Licensing Authority (AALA) approved instructors
  • Open sessions throughout the season for individuals and small groups
  • Longest established coasteering provider in North Devon
  • The Ultimate Adventure Centre is a fully insured provider
  • Aged 8+
  • Own transport is required
  • Must be able to swim 25m unassisted

AALA Approved Coasteering

Coasteering operates in an extremely dynamic environment, one that treads the thin line between adventure and misadventure. Therefore we provide all the quality safety equipment needed including wetsuits. Participants are asked to supply swimwear, footwear a towel and suitable shorts. Advice on footwear is given when booking.

Open coasteering sessions at our awesome location in North Devon are available throughout the season. These are ideal for individuals, families, couples and small groups. Opportunities are limited by tides and weather, so book now to secure your place!

How can you book?

As coasteering takes place off-site, it is not included in our Ultimate Day Out tickets.

You can book your 2.5 hour session online and it only takes a few moments. Just hit the ‘Book Now’ button either above or below and you’ll see a booking calendar. Simply navigate to the date you want and the sessions available will be displayed in green. Then just click on ‘Book Now’, it’s as simple as that!

Once you have completed your booking, a confirmation will be e-mailed directly to you with details of what you need to bring with you. If there aren’t any North Devon Coasteering sessions on the date you desire, please contact us as we may be able to add a session specially for you.

"The best School Trip ever!"
Wanted to say a massive ‘Thank you’ to all the staff at Ultimate Adventure for a great week. The group of thirteen year olds, were kept busy from 8am till 10pm. They loved staying in the lodges and thought the bunk beds were cool. Many parents commented that their children had not stopped talking about the trip since they have been back. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We have already booked for next year. Outdoor Education at it’s best!

Fantastic 7th Birthday Party
We held our son's 7th Birthday Party at Ultimate Adventure and it was fantastic. He wanted a 007 Spy Training School Birthday Party and Ultimate Adventure was the perfect venue. The Instructors were amazing and encouraged everyone through the four activities. I would definitely recommend Ultimate Adventure to anyone. The party was fantastic and great value for money. A party that all the boys will never forget - thank you.

What an amazing place!
This place is just awesome it has everything you could want here. We stayed here with a mixture of kids and adults and it was a Perfect stay, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are really uniquely decorated, clean and fun and even better get such a good night sleep. I certainly will be back to try out the total wipe out and some other activities.

Fantastic adrenaline fuelled day out, myself my partner and two children ten and fifteen had an amazing day. Fantastic facilities and fantastic staff..... very well organised brilliant day out for the family

Best 2 hours of the holiday!
Our kids loved the ultimate assault course - they say it was the best 2 hours of their holiday! Great facilities, friendly staff, plenty of time to do the course lots of times, until they eventually ran out of energy! Recommended for kids and adults to have lots of fun in a very safe environment.
